The Hot Wheels classic Mini Coopers do the same thing

That Z4 and that Avant, soo much want. The only germans I have in my collection are a 914 and a Karmann Ghia, which ain't terrible but is nowhere near your collection!

Really? I'll have to check it out!

The 914 is just like my Neighbors! I love the Karmann Ghia, very classy car.

I've got that same beetle plus two Morris Minis that have removable bodies. The Audi and Benz wagons are pure want.

Yeah, when ever I see a wagon, I must buy! The most recent wagon addition was the CTS wagon

Whoa, love those models! What company?

Indeed, I have 2 and can switch the bodies between them :) only have one Beetle though, lol, photo stolen from Google images

I have a beetle and my little brother has a beetle, so we can interchange if we want to. :)

Sorry for the late reply! All of these are Matchbox including the Miura. Hot Wheel's are always slightly riced out and Maisto 1:60 models look pretty bad. Problem is, Matchbox models are pretty hard to find nowadays (at least in my country).
EDIT:
I'm not saying all Hot wheel's are bad, take a look at this AMC i got recently:

That pic on the windowsill - I can't believe those are matchbox! Are they from a super-detailed special line? I've never seen those wheels on a 1:60 or 1:64 model before.

Do any of those Matchbox models have metal bases? I love the variety of real cars that Matchbox has but I've always thought that Hot Wheels feel more solidly built.

The Audi TT coupe has a metal base, it feel so much more substantial than the plastic bottom ones. That's all I can think of off the top of my head...

This is what I found: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Matchbox-P… doesn't seem to be any kind of special line or anything!

Metal or plastic base?
![]() 04/11/2014 at 16:19 |

914 and Miura are plastic, VW is metal
